A 9-day Bamboo Design and Build Workshop

  The bamboo structures in Alhibé , were once dreamed of by the owners, using bamboo as building material. It's been quite a long and patient journey indeed as the farm is slowly transitioning and changing the structures with bamboo, from testing their own DIY bamboo treatment, to relaying the knowledge to their inhouse carpenters. 

Back in 2019 they had to fly to Bali Indonesia to learn this 

bamboo building system.

Conveniently today, thanks to collaborations with Bamboo Bootcamp, Alhibé  had been one of the hosts for the intensive course they offer which was also translated into our local context. We had the bootcamps last October 2021 and July 2022.

 A 3-day Kids and Youth camp focused on nature based activities and exploration.

Excited to share the place as we spend time outdoors, do nature based activities, learn about the importance of Bamboo and our Native Trees and have some dibs on Permaculture principles practiced at the farm, with these young nature enthusiasts!
